Cargo Throughput Solutions and Simply Cargo policies provide seamless cover for goods ranging from raw material to finished products in transit anywhere in the world including whilst stored at own or third party premises.

Cargo Throughput Solutions (CTS) is revolutionary in the Marine market as it does not incorporate any Institute Cargo Clauses within the wording. We’ve listened to our brokers and customers and responded to the request for a plain English Cargo and StockThroughput policy written on an All Risks basis as a clear and effective alternative to Marine Cargo policies that refer to ‘Institute Clauses’ which can be difficult for non-specialist brokers to decipher and may not be the most suitable method of covering goods in store.

Simply Cargo is our traditional Marine Cargo product with cover built around Institute Cargo Clauses. Cover is available for any movement of goods, exhibitions, sales or engineers tools and samples, and also for stock as required.

So we have a full suite of solutions for those who prefer and require the traditional policy based on Institute Cargo Clauses as well as offering a simple, straight forward wording for those who prefer an alternative to the traditional wording.

Our Cargo policies provide cover for businesses typically involved in imports and/or exports, retail, wholesale or manufacturing for goods and materials incidental to the business and/or owned by the Assured, in transit within the UK and worldwide, including whilst being stored.
